Skrac.me DMCA Copyright Policy

Skrac.me has adopted the following general policy toward copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (https://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf).

With regard to content hosted on Skrac.me servers or processed through our routing infrastructure, it is our policy to:

  1. Block access to or remove material that we believe in good faith to be copyrighted material that has been illegally copied and distributed by any of our advertisers, affiliates, content providers, members, or users.
  2. Remove and discontinue service to repeat offenders.

A. Procedure for Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that material or content residing on or accessible through the Skrac.me website or Services infringes a copyright, please send a written notice of copyright infringement containing the following information to our Designated Agent listed below:

  • Authorized Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of Work: Clear identification of the copyrighted works or materials claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of Infringing Material: Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including specific information regarding the exact location of the infringing materials (e.g., the specific shortened skrac.me URL(s)) with sufficient detail so that we are capable of locating and verifying its existence.
  • Contact Information: Complete contact information for the notifier, including mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Good Faith Statement: A statement that the notifier has a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Perjury Statement: A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided in the notification is accurate and that the notifying party is authorized to make the complaint on behalf of the copyright owner.

B. Action Upon Receipt of Proper Bona Fide Infringement Notification

Upon receipt of a complete and valid copyright infringement notification by our Designated Agent, Skrac.me will execute the following procedures:

  1. Expedited Removal: Promptly remove or disable access to the identified infringing material.
  2. User Notification: Promptly notify the content provider, member, or user responsible for the submission that we have removed or disabled access to the material.
  3. Strict Repeat Offender Policy: In accordance with our Terms of Service, any content provider, member, or user who repeatedly violates intellectual property rights will have their infringing materials permanently removed from our systems, and their account and access to the Services immediately terminated.
